DJIA Market Happenings For Tuesday, June 13, 2017

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Dupont (DD), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), 3M (MMM) and Travelers (TRV). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +31 points.

Monday the Dow was down -36.30 (-0.17%) at 21,235.67.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +7.64%.

There were 15 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by General Electric (GE) +3.58% and Chevron (CVX) +1.54%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Apple (AAPL) -2.39% and McDonald’s (MCD) -1.99%.

Merck & Co (MRK unch) lost 1% in after-hours trading after it said it would halt new enrollment for its trials of Keytruda with combination with other therapies in multiple myeloma to study reports of deaths in the Keytruda groups.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down three-tenths of a cent at $2.336 per gallon.
