The Dow Market Happenings For Friday, May 26, 2017

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Boeing (BA), Microsoft (MSFT), Visa (V) and UnitedHealth (UNH). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -15 points.

Thursday the Dow was up +70.53 (+0.34%) at 21,082.95.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +6.68%.

There were 22 Dow stocks up Thursday.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by UnitedHealth (UNH) +1.40% and Travelers (TRV) +1.37%.

The Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Dupont (DD) -1.26% and General Electric (GE) -1.22%.

Chevron (CVX -1.05%) was downgraded to ‘Underperform’ from ‘Neutral’ at Exane BNP Paribas with its price target lowered to $100 from $105.

European stocks are mostly mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up two-tenths of a cent at $2.374 per gallon.
