The Dow Market Happenings For Tuesday, March 21, 2017

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Apple (AAPL), Dupont (DD), Disney (DIS), 3M (MMM) and Visa (V). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +22 points.

Monday the Dow was down -8.76 (-0.04%) at 20,905.86.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +5.78%.

There were 18 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Caterpillar (CAT) +2.68% and Nike (NKE) +1.52%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Home Depot (HD) -1.20% and Visa (V) -1.17%.

Nike (NKE) reports earnings after the close today.

Goldman Sachs (GS) will begin moving hundreds of people out of London before any Brexit deal is struck as part of its contingency plans for Britain leaving the European Union.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $2.291 per gallon.
