Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +43 points.

Thursday the Dow was down -13.90 (-0.07%) at 19,819.78.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +13.82%.

There were 19 Dow stocks up Thursday.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by Verizon (VZ) +0.56% and Coca Cola (KO) +0.51%.

The Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Goldman Sachs (GS) -1.03% and Dupont (DD) -0.77%.

China not only provides Apple (AAPL) with low labor costs and incredible scale, but many valuable local government incentives. Some of them could disappear if trade tensions rise.

It’s the last trading day of 2016.
