DJIA Market Happenings For Wednesday, December 14, 2016

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Boeing (BA), IBM (IBM), Microsoft (MSFT), Travelers (TRV) and United Technologies (UTX).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -24 points.

Tuesday the Dow was up +114.78 (+0.58%) at 19,911.21.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +14.27%.

There were 23 Dow stocks up Tuesday.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by Intel (INTC) +2.31% and Exxon Mobil (XOM) +1.76%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Dupont (DD) -0.45% and 3M (MMM) -0.45%.

Gold bounced from its lowest close in 10 months before the U.S. Federal Reserve’s meeting to set interest rates amid unanimous expectations for the first increase this year.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up eight-tenths of a cent at $2.220 per gallon.
