The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +45 points.

Tuesday the Dow was down -57.66 (-0.33%) at 17,674.82.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +1.43%.

There were 13 Dow stocks up Tuesday.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by General Electric (GE) +2.04% and Procter & Gamble (PG) +0.94%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by American Express (AXP) -4.08% and Home Depot (HD) -2.03%.

Cisco (CSCO +0.42%) was downgraded to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Buy’ at Goldman Sachs.

The Fed ends its two day policy meeting today with results out about 11:00 am PDT.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down seven-tenths of a cent at $2.366 per gallon.
