Thursday the Dow was up +235.31 (+1.33%) at 17,929.99.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +2.90%.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by General Electric (GE) +3.04%, Intel (INTC) +2.72% and Boeing (BA) +2.27%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent at $2.283 per gallon.
