Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +11 points.

Friday the Dow was up +107.66 (+0.61%) at 17,792.75.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +2.11%.

There were 24 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Goldman Sachs (GS) +1.81% and Merck (MRK) +1.49%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Chevron (CVX) -1.19% and Exxon Mobil (XOM) -0.75%.

Intel (INTC +0.31%) was downgraded to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Outperform’ at Exane BNP Paribas.

Visa (V +1.45%) could double over the next four years says Barron’s.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $2.056 per gallon.
