DJIA Market Happenings For Monday, March 7, 2016

There are no Dow stocks at 52 week highs.There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -54 points.

Friday the Dow was up +62.87 (+0.37%) at 17,006.77.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -2.40%.

There were 17 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Dupont (DD) +2.05% and Caterpillar (CAT) +1.52%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Home Depot (HD) -0.98% and Microsoft (MSFT) -0.61%.

I went back to cash on Friday. Not sure if it was the right move. As always,we shall see. Made about 8% on the trade.

Du Pont (DD +2.05%) climbed over 6% in after-hours trading after BASF said it was working with banks to weigh a counter bid for DuPont.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $1.812 per gallon.

Nike (NKE) reports earnings on 3/17/2016 after the market close.
