DJIA Market Happenings For Friday, February 26, 2016

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), Verizon (VZ) and Coca Cola (KO).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +94 points.

Thursday the Dow was up +212.30 (+1.29%) at 16,697.29.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -4.18%.

All 30 Dow stocks were up Thursday.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by United Technologies (UTX) +4.76%, Nike (NKE) +3.28%, Dupont (DD) +2.37% and Visa (V) +1.98%

There were no Dow stock losers Thursday.

Looks like a great start on Friday.

The economy is on fire as US GDP comes in at +1% versus estimates of +0.4%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up 1.3 cents at $1.728 per gallon.
