The Dow Market Happenings For Thursday, December 24, 2015

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Nike (NKE).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +13 points.

Wednesday, the Dow was up +185.34 (+1.06%) at 17,602.61.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -1.24%.

There were 28 Dow stocks up Wednesday.

The Dow stock winners Wednesday were led by Cheron (CVX) +3.92% and Exxon Mobil (XOM) +3.27%.

The Dow stock losers Wednesday was Nike (NKE) -2.58% and Disney (DIS) -1.11%.

Hopefully the Santa rally continues today.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down three-tenths of a cent at $2.006 per gallon.

Earnings Reports.

Nike (NKE) reported earnings on 12/22/15 after the market close of $0.90 per share, beating consensus of $0.85 per share. Nike shares also split 2:1 Wednesday 12/23/15.
