DJIA Market Happenings For Thursday, December 17, 2015

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include General Electric (GE), Microsoft (MSFT), Coca Cola (KO) and McDonald’s (MCD).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +52 points.

Wednesday, the Dow was up +156.41 (+0.90%) at 17,524.91.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -0.42%.

There were 28 Dow stocks up Wednesday.

The Dow stock winners Wednesday were led by Goldman Sachs (GS) +2.31% and General Electric (GE) +2.18%.

The Dow stock losers Wednesday were Dupont (DD) -0.41% and Exxon Mobil (XOM) -0.35%.
The Fed raise a quarter point and the markets are headed higher (for a while I hope).

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down four-tenths of a cent at $2.007 per gallon.
