Tuesday, the Dow was up +168.43 (+0.95%) at 17,888.35.

Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by UnitedHealth (UNH) +3.15% and Merck (MRK) +2.94%.

Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Caterpillar (CAT) -1.50% and Apple (AAPL) -0.81%.

Analysts at Citigroup upgraded Chevron Corporation CVX from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $95.00 to $110.00.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mixed.

The national average price of gasoline is unchanged at $2.038 per gallon.
