DJIA Market Happenings For Tuesday, October 6, 2015

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +13 points.

Monday, the Dow was up +304.06 (+1.85%) at 16,776.43.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -5.87%.

There were 29 Dow stocks up Monday

Dow stock winners Monday were led by General Electric (GE) +5.30% and Caterpillar (CAT) +5.30%.

The Dow stock loser Monday was Nike (NKE) -0.75%.

DuPont (DD +4.10%) rose 4% in pre-market trading after the company said Edward Breen will replace Ellen Kullman as chairman and CEO.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is unchanged at $2.290 per gallon. Gas is at $2.26 per gallon at the local Gig Harbor Costco.
