Tuesday, the Dow was up +47.24 (+0.30%) at 16,049.13.

Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by 3M (MMM) +2.29% and Visa (V) +1.98%.

Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Apple (AAPL) -3.01% and Nike (NKE) -2.02%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down three-tenths of a cent at $2.285 per gallon.
