Thursday, the Dow was up +76.83 (+0.47%) at 16,330.40.

Dow stock winners Thursday were led by Apple (AAPL) +2.20% and Pfizer (PFE) +2.07%.

Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) -1.54% and Caterpillar (CAT) -0.74%.

Goldman Sachs reported a 10.4% passive stake in Columbia Pipeline Partners (CPPL +1.34%) .

Nike (NKE +0.47%) was initiated with a ‘Buy’ at B. Riley with a price target of $126.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down nine-tenths of a cent at $2.360 per gallon.
