DJIA Market Happenings For Wednesday, September 9, 2015

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open p +192 points.

Tuesday, the Dow was up +390.30 (+2.42%) at 16,492.68.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -7.46%.

All 30 Dow stocks were up Tuesday.

Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by General Electric (GE) +4.0%, Wal-Mart (WMT) +3.90%, Pfizer (PFE) +3.70%, Intel (INTC) +3.44% and UnitedHealth (UNH) +3.32%.

Apple (AAPL +2.78%) climbed over 1% in pre-market trading ahead of its annual show where a new version of the iPhone is expected to be unveiled.

Intel (INTC +3.44%) was initiated with a ‘Buy’ at Sterne Agee CRT with a price target of $38.

McDonald’s Corporation (MCD) today announced that it will fully transition to cage-free eggs for its nearly 16,000 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada over the next 10 years.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down 1.1 cents at $2.380 per gallon.
