The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -262 points.

Friday, the Dow was down -272.38 (-1.66%) at 16,102.38.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -9.65%.

There were no Dow stocks up Friday.

Dow stock losers Friday were led by Dupont (DD) -3.88%, Goldman Sachs (GS) -2.53%, IBM (IBM) -2.10%, General Electric (GE) -2.08%, Microsoft (MSFT) -2.05% and Chevron (CVX) -2.03%.

Apple (AAPL) has a big product launch Thursday with iPhone 6s and AppleTV. Maybe a bigger iPad too.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down eight-tenths of a cent at $2.391 per gallon.
