Friday, the Dow was down -530.94 (-3.12%) at 16,459.75.
Year-to-date the Dow is down -7.65%.

Dow stock losers Friday were led by Apple (AAPL) -6.12%, Microsoft (MSFT) -5.67%, Nike (NKE) -4.84%, Goldman Sachs (GS) -4.58% and Chevron (CVX) -4.39%.
In the first couple of minutest in trading the Dow dropped -1000 points. The Russell 2000 was down -45 but didn’t print for several minutes though. The Nasdaq was down -7.7%. The VIX hasn’t printed yet either.
Glad I only bought a little of the blood on Friday.
Chevron (CVX -4.39%) was upgraded to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Underperform’ at BofA/Merrill Lynch.
Nike (NKE -4.84%) was upgraded to ‘Outperform’ from ‘Market Perform’ at Telsey Advisory.
European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.
The national average price of gasoline is down eight-tenths of a cent at $2.595 per gallon.
