Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +166 points.

Tuesday, the Dow was up +23.16 (+0.13%) at 17,619.51.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -1.14%.

Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by Disney (DIS) +0.96% and JPMorgan (JPM) +0.83%.

Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) -0.69% and Merck (MRK) -0.63%.

Boeing (BA) was awarded a $358.94 million government contract for the manufacture and delivery of nine United States Navy Full-Rate Production Lot II P-8A aircraft, 16 USN FRP Lot III P-8A aircraft, and four Royal Australian Air Force FRP Lot III P-8A aircraft to the U.S. Navy and the Government of Australia.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent at $2.763 per gallon.
