Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -48 points.

Tuesday, the Dow was down -85.26 (-0.47%) at 18,203.37.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +2.13%.

Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by Boeing (BA) +1.15% and Disney (DIS) +0.43%.

Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Cisco (CSCO) -2.15% and Microsoft (MSFT) -1.37%.

McDonald’s (MCD) was upgraded to ‘Outperform’ from ‘Sector Perform’ at RBC Capital.

Alcoa (AA) was downgraded to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Buy’ at BofA/Merrill Lynch.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is up 1.0 cent at $2.451 per gallon.
