DJIA Market Happenings For Thursday, February 26, 2015

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Disney (DIS), 3M (MMM) and Visa (V). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -16 points.

Wednesday, the Dow was up +15.38 (+0.08%) at 18,224.57.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +2.25%.

There were 14 Dow stocks up Wednesday.

Dow stock winners Wednesday were led by McDonald’s (MCD +3.87% and General Electric (GE) +2.05%.

Dow stock losers Wednesday were led by Intel (INTC) -1.35% and International Business Machines (IBM) -1.23%.

McDonald’s (MCD) jumped Wednesday and is currently yielding about 3.6%.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up 1.5 cents at $2.343 per gallon.
