DJIA Market Happenings For Friday, February 20, 2015

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Boeing (BA), Home Depot (HD) and United Technologies (UTX). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -24 points.

Thursday, the Dow was down -44.08 (-0.24%) at 17,985.77.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +0.91%.

There were 10 Dow stocks up Thursday.

Dow stock winners Thursday included Boeing (BA) +1.71% and International Business Machines (IBM) +1.05%.

Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) -3.21% and Chevron (CVX) -1.89%.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) was downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Barclays.

Procter & Gamble (PG) yesterday said it now expects 100 brand divestitures to decrease annual sales by 14%, or about $11 billion.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up three-tenths of a cent at $2.276 per gallon.

Home Depot (HD) reports earnings on 2/24/15 before the open.
