Friday, the Dow was down -60.59 (-0.34%) at 17,824.29.

Dow stock winners Friday included Verizon (VZ) +3.07% and JPMorgan (JPM) +1.97%.

Dow stock losers Friday were led by Intel (INTC) -1.90% and Nike (NKE) -1.66%.

Pfizer (PFE) was upgraded to ‘Outperform’ from ‘Market Perform’ at BMO Capital.

One time Dow stock Alcoa (AA) was downgraded to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Overweight’ at JPMorgan Chase.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is up two-tenths of a cent at $2.177 per gallon.
