The Dow Market Happenings For Monday, December 22, 2014

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Dupont (DD), Home Depot (HD), Procter & Gamble (PG), 3M (MMM), Travelers (TRV) and UnitedHealth (UNH). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +57 points.

Friday, the Dow closed up +26.65 (+0.15%) at 17,804.80.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +7.41%.

There were 18 Dow stocks up Friday.

Dow stock winners Friday were led by Chevron (CVX) +3.58% and Exxon Mobil (XOM) +2.72%.

Dow stock losers include Nike (NKE) -2.31% and Intel (INTC) -1.76%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline over the weekend is down 6.0 cents at $2.394 per gallon. Gig Harbor Costco was at $2.22 per gallon yesterday.
