Dow stock losers Tuesday included Home Depot (HD) -2.02% and Chevron (CVX) -1.48%.

Home Depot (HD) may be the latest retailer to suffer a major credit card data breach. The home improvement retailer Tuesday said that it is working with both banks and law enforcement to investigate “unusual activity” that would point to a hack.

Bank of America (BAC) was downgraded to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Buy’ at Nomura.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $3.433 per gallon.
