Year-to-date the Dow is up +1.66%. Nasdaq is up +5.3%, S&P 500 +6.1% and Russell 2000 +2.2%.

Last week the Dow was down -0.6%, Nasdaq +0.7%, S&P 500 -0.1% and Russell 2000 +0.1%.

Dow stock winners Friday included Microsoft (MSFT) +1.27% and Nike (NKE) +1.07%.

Dow stock losers Friday included Dupont (DD) -3.34% and Merck (MRK) -1.71%.

Friday there were 20 Dow stock winners.

Thursday, we get the Friday Jobs number due to the 4th of July holiday.

Today is the last day of the quarter and first half of 2014.

Dow stock leaders for the year include Caterpillar (CAT) +19.79%, Intel (INTC) +19.17%, Merck (MRK) +14.95%, Jonson & Johnson (JNJ) +14.63% and Microsoft (MSFT) +12.94%.

The biggest Dow losers year-to-date include Visa (V) -6.02%, Goldman Sachs (GS) -5.91% and General Electric (GE) -5.71%.

European stocks were mixed and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down eight-tenths of a cent over the weekend at $3.676 per gallon.

Nike (NKE) reported earnings on 6/26/14 after the market close of $0.78/share, beating consensus for $0.76/share.

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) reported third quarter EPS of $0.20 on revenue of $1.80 billion, compared to last year’s EPS of $0.16 on revenue of $1.79 billion.

KB Home (KBH) reported second quarter EPS of $0.27 on revenue of $562.40 million, compared to last year’s loss of $0.04 on revenue of $524.41 million.

The Finish Line (FINL) reported first quarter EPS of $0.28 on revenue of $406.50 million, compared to last year’s EPS of $0.20 on revenue of $351.05 million.
