The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +57 points.

Tuesday, the Dow closed up +10.27 (+0.06%) at 16,256.14.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -1.93%.

JP Morgan Chase reported a 10.7% passive stake in Malibu Boats (MBUU) .

Alcoa (AA) rose over 3% in premarket trading after it reported Q1 adjusted EPS of 9 cents, well ahead of 5 cents consensus although Q1 revenue of $5.50 billion was below consensus of $5.55 billion.

European stocks are higher and Asian stocks ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up 1.5 cents to $3.601 per gallon.
