The Market
Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -47 points.
Tuesday, the Dow closed down -67.43 (-0.41%) at 16,351.25.
Year-to-date the Dow is down -1.30%.
There’s just not much happening with the Dow stocks and that’s the problem with the market in general.
There’s no reason to go higher.
Personally, I sold everything last Friday and will wait for that reason to be long again.
Also, this market is not right to go short in either.
European stocks are mixed and Asian stocks ended lower.
The national average price of gasoline is up two-tenths of a cent to $3.490 per gallon.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation (CZR) reported a fourth quarter loss of $1.49 on revenue of $2.08 billion, compared to last year’s loss of $3.75 on revenue of $2.02 billion.
