The Market

This morning the Jobs Report was disappointing. The economy added only 74,000 jobs in December, far below the 193,000 that economists had forecast. The unemployment rate last month fell to 6.7% from 7%.
Microsoft (MSFT) was upgraded to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Equal Weight’ at Barclays.
European stocks are mostly higher and Asian stocks ended mixed.
The national average price of gasoline is up five-tenths of a cent to $3.312 per gallon.
