JPMorgan Chase (JPM) reported October net credit losses of 2.82% vs. 2.63% in September and October delinquency rate of 1.60% vs. 1.57% in September.
Yesterday, Berkshire Hathaway disclosed that it had bought 40.1 million shares of Exxon Mobil, resulting in a $3.45 billion stake. Shares were up on that news.
European stocks are mixed and Asian stocks ended higher.
The national average price of gasoline is up five-tenths of a cent to $3.199 per gallon.
