The Market

Premarket, the Dow was indicated to open down -14 points.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +18.35%.

Procter & Gamble (PG) announced that its sales and profit rose in the quarter, as expected, but their shares slipped in premarket trading.

Microsoft (MSFT) jumped 6% in after-hours trading after it reported Q1 EPS of 62 cents, well ahead of consensus of 54 cents.

European markets are mostly higher and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down 1.4 cents to $3.315 per gallon.
