The Market

Thursday the Dow closed down -22.50 (-0.15%) at 15,082.62.

This morning the Dow is indicated to open up +17 points.

Investors will be watching Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke closely today for talk about stimulus as he delivers a speech in Chicago at 9:30 a.m. ET.

The top three Dow gainers this year include Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) +48.63%, The Walt Disney Company (DIS) +33.90% and Boeing (BA) +25.54%.

European markets are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up 1.1 cents to $3.560 per gallon.
