The Market
Wednesday, the Dow closed up at 14,455.28 and made it’s ninth straight day of record highs.
This morning we are up +34, and maybe ten straight days higher.
The Department of Labor released a better-than-expected weekly report on initial jobless claims, with claims falling to 332,000 last week. Economists had expected 350,000 new filings.
The S&P 500 is near a record high this morning too.
European markets are higher and Asian markets ended higher.
The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent to $3.701 per gallon.
