Premarket, futures are down a bit. Gainers this morning include COST (+5.70%), NFLX, FMC, SCHW and LUK while losers include FCX (-2.30%), MU, SNI, CTSH and DIS.

The Labor Department reported that the number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment insurance dropped 25,000 to 370,000 last week.

European markets are up and Asian markets ended mixed.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent to $3.379 per gallon.
