DJIA / Market Close for Monday, September 26, 2011

After the close…

We have IDTI lowering guidance, HME to enter the S&P 400 with BJ to exit same.

Stocks scored their strongest single-session surge in more than two weeks amid hopes that a plan to stabilize Europe’s flagging financial system is in the works. Banks and other financial issues led the advance. In the absence of any meaningful data or market-moving corporate.

After the close, there are no notable names scheduled to report earnings results.

Futures are mixed after hours with S&P 500 futures up +0.50 from fair value of 1156.90 and Nasdaq 100 futures down -5.21 from fair value of 2229.21.

Tomorrow before the open, there is one economic report scheduled to be released: Case-Shiller 20-city Index (Consensus -4.5%).

Also tomorrow before the open, notable stocks expected to report earnings include AM, NEOG, and WAG.
