After the close…

We have AGNC down -1.8% after announcing a common stock offering.

Well, we got some great gains today. My favorite, the Russell 2000 was up+2.31%. The advance has culminated in the Dow’s best three-session performance since September. Today, AGNC announced plans to make a public offering of 27,000,000 shares of its common stock. In connection with the offering, the Company intends to grant the underwriters an option for 30 days to purchase up to an additional 4,050,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if there are any.

After the close,we have no notable earnings reports.

Futures are lower after hours with S&P 500 futures down a whopping -0.19 from fair value of 1292.99 and Nasdaq 100 futures down -4.14 points from fair value of 2259.89.

Today after the close there are no companies expected to report.

Also tomorrow before the open, notable stocks expected to report earnings include CCL, CMC, DG, EXPR, JEF, NEOG, WNI, and WAG.

Note: PSVIX was up +2.07% today and stands at +5.82% for the year to date.
