DJIA / Market Close for Thursday, March 17, 2011

After the close…

We have NKE down -5.6% following their earnings report and guidance.

We got a strong bounce today. but, you know, not that strong of a bounce. I hope we get two more days of gains. I am going to take more off the table. It’s the middle of March and earnings season is still 4 weeks away. What’s there to rally about. Nothing.

After the close, notable stocks reporting earnings include CPWM, GMAN, GXDX, IHS, LDK, NKE, NWY, SCVL and SEAC.

Futures are lower after hours with S&P 500 futures down -1.43 from fair value of 1268.53 and Nasdaq100 futures down -1.33 points from fair value of 2222.58.

Tomorrow before the open, we have no economic reports scheduled to be released.

Also, tomorrow before the open, PERY is expected to report earnings.
