After the close…

We have VMW down -3.6%, TXN down -2.8% and AXP down -1.3% following earnings reports.

Today we got into rally mode with the Dow setting a new two-year high as it advanced more than 100 points to settle just 20 points shy of the 12,000 mark.

After the close notable stocks reporting earnings include AMGN, TXN, AXP, CSX, VMW, VLTR, PKG, RLI, ZION, ELS, ALB, CR, HTLF, NARA, PLXT, SLG, STM, ETH, MSPD, SANM, JEC and WGOV.

Futures are mixed after hours with S&P 500 futures up +0.63 from fair value of 1287.07 and Nasdaq 100 futures down -2.29 points from fair value of 2298.54.

Nine of ten sectors were in positive territory, led by tech (+1.6%), materials (+1.0%) and industrials (+1.0%).

Tomorrow before the open we have one economic report scheduled to be released: Case-Shiller 20-city Index (Consensus -1.5%).

Also tomorrow before the open notable stocks expected to report earnings include MMM, AOS, AKS, ALK, ASH, BHI, BLK, EAT, CNI, CRS, COH, GLW, DD, EMS, HOG, IIVI, JNJ, KEY, KMB, ERIC, MDP, MNRO, NEE, BTU, PVTB, DGX, RYN, RF, SHW, SBNY, TLAB, TRV, X, VZ, and WAT.
