After the Close…

We have V -1.8%, ALL -4.7%, SKX -9.9% following earnings report release.

The market was dropped for a loss of more than 1% amid another bounce by the dollar, however late session support helped stocks stage a strong turn higher into the close. After the close notable stocks reporting earnings include ALL, NSC, ORLY, QTM, SKX, TQNT.

Futures are lower after hours: S&P 500 futures are -0.75 from fair value of 1178.85 and Nasdaq100 futures -3.12 points from fair value of 2123.37.

Eight of ten sectors were in positive territory, led by materials (-0.9%), industrials (-0.7%) and energy (-0.5%).

Tomorrow morning before the open we have one economic report scheduled to be released: Initial Claims (Consensus 458K) and Continuing Claims (Consensus 4428K).

Tomorrow before the open of the notable companies scheduled to report earnings include MMM, AVP, ABX, BX, BKC, CELG, CME, CCE, CL, DBD, DOW, EK, XOM, BEN, GT, IMAX, LLL, LVLT, MOT, OMX, OSK, POT, RTN, STRA, TEL, and ZMH.
