Europe stocks hit by UBS woes, ArcelorMittal warning (AFP)

Bank of England governor Mervyn King, ictured at a dinner in London in June, warned overnight that a new set of rules for the world's banks will not be enough on their own to prevent a repetition of the financial crisis.
