After the close…

We have GOOG up +9.07% following earnings results. By the way that’s +49.07 GOOG points.

Stocks made their first loss in five sessions with weakness in bank stocks and the dollar pared its loss.

After the close notable na,es reporting earnings included GOOG, AMD and CBST.

GOOG was up +9.07% after reporting third quarter earnings which beat on the bottom line by $0.96.

Futures are higher after hours: S&P 500 futures are +5.3 from fair value of 1170.00 and Nasdaq100 futures +16.82 points from fair value of 2052.18

Seven of the sectors were in negative territory, led by financials (-1.8%), materials (-0.9%) and industrials (-0.4%), while telecom (+0.3%)
and tech (+0.1%) was in positive territory.

Tomorrow morning before the open we have three economic reports scheduled to be released: 1) CPI (Consensus 0.2%) and Core CPI (Consensus 0.1%), 2) Retail Sales (Consensus 0.4%) and Core PPI (Consensus 0.1%) and 3) Trade Balance (Consensus -$44.5B).

Also tomorrow before the open look for FHN, GCI, GE, GPC, INFY, KNL, MAT, and WBS to report earnings.
