Stocks finish higher after release of Fed minutes (AP)

AP – FED READY TO HELP: Minutes released from the latest meeting of the Federal Reserve signaled that the central bank is prepared to take additional steps to encourage spending. The move was expected by traders, who have been pushing stock prices higher on the assumption that the Fed will buy bonds.
