The Dow stock winners Wednesday were led by JPMorgan (JPM) 125.07 (+2.79%), Goldman Sachs (GS) 256.45 (+2.54%) and American Express (AXP) 116.95 (+2.10%).

The Dow stock losers Wednesday were led by Salesforce (CRM) 227.43 (-1.62%), Microsoft (MSFT) 221.02 (-1.30%) and Cisco (CSCO) 44.375 (-0.70%).

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up three-tenths of a cent at $2.250 per gallon.
