Thursday the Dow was up +188.27 (+0.95%) at 20,087.19.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -29.61%.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were McDonald’s (MCD) +8.89%, Disney (DIS) +6.90%, Goldman Sachs (GS) +6.76%, Dow (DOW) +6.35% and United Technologies (UTX) +5.49%.

The Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Walgreens (WBA) -8.07%, Coca Cola (KO) -6.73%, Pfizer (PFE) -6.00%, Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) -5.86%, Procter & Gamble (PG) -5.64% and Boeing (BA) -4.10%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down 2.2 cents at $2.174 per gallon.
