DJIA Market Happenings For Tuesday, December 10, 2019

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Nike (NKE). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +20 points.

Monday the Dow was down -105.46 (-0.38%) at 27,909.60.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +19.64%.

There were 12 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Home Depot (HD) +1.05%, Procter & Gamble (PG) +0.55% and IBM (IBM) +0.5%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Apple (AAPL) -1.40%, Goldman Sachs (GS) -1.25% and Disney (DIS) -0.98%.

The two-day Fed FOMC Meeting begins today. The Fed is expected to hold rates steady.

U.S. stock index futures rebound on Tuesday after reports the U.S. plans to delay the implementation of additional tariffs on Chinese goods. The additional levies were set to kick in on Dec. 15.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down three-tenths of a cent at $2.570 per gallon.
