Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -318 points.

Monday the Dow was down -268.37 (-0.96%) at 27,783.04.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +19.10%.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Coca Cola (KO) +0.66%, Procter & Gamble (PG) +0.54% and Exxon Mobil (XOM) +0.43%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Boeing (BA) -3.00%, American Express (AXP) -2.38% and United Technologies (UTX) -2.26%.

Trump told reporters at a press conference in London Tuesday that the signing of a US-China trade deal is entirely at his discretion. He indicated that an agreement may not come until 2020 or later. “I have no deadline,” he said. “In some ways I think it’s better to wait for after the election, if you want to know the truth.”

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is up one-tenth of a cent at $2.590 per gallon.
