The Dow Market Happenings For Tuesday, September 3, 2019

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Home Depot (HD) and Procter & Gamble (PG). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -212 points.

Friday the Dow was up +41.03 (+0.16%) at 26,403.28.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +13.19%.

There were 19 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Walgreens (WBA) +1.57%, UnitedHealth (UNH) +1.47% and Intel (INTC) +1.15%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Cisco (CSCO) -0.97%, Procter & Gamble (PG) -0.78% and Nike (NKE) -0.78%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The Dow is set to open lower as investors’ sentiment soured after US tariffs on Chinese imports came into effect over the weekend.

The national average price of gasoline is up four-tenths of a cent at $2.573 per gallon.
