The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +201 points.

Monday the Dow was up +98.19 (+0.42%) at 23,531.35.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +0.87%.

There were 22 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Home Depot (HD) +1.97%, Visa (V) +1.80% and Nike (NKE) +1.43%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Coca Cola (KO) -1.30%, Merck (MRK) -1.10% and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) -0.64%.

IBM (IBM) was over 1% higher after it signed a multi-year managed services agreement valued at $540 million with Helsinki-based Nordea Bank.

Dow technology stocks AAPL, CSCO, IBM and MSFT were advancing before the bell Tuesday.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent at $2.232 per gallon.
