The Dow stock winners Wednesday led by DowDuPont (DWDP) +2.05%, American Express (AXP) +1.97% and Caterpillar (CAT) +1.73%.

The Dow stock losers Wednesday were led by Verizon (VZ) -2.72%, Exxon Mobil (XOM) -0.86% and Walmart (WMT) -0.79%.

Procter & Gamble (PG +0.13%) was upgraded to ‘Buy’ from ‘Neutral’ at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch with a price target of $108.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down eight-tenths of a cent at $2.399 per gallon.
